Last week, my friend Joe who DJs for The Color Run sent me a text letting me know we got a space to set up a vendor table for our wedding photography and DJ company Vow Media Group at The Color Run Chicago in Grant Park. I've heard all about TCR from Joe the past few years, but now I got to be part of one and see it happen firsthand.  

We got into Grant Park right around 5am to begin setup, running on about 4 hours of sleep.

During the time I wasn't at the booth talking to people about what we do, I decided to roam around Grant Park and cover The Color Run as it happened. 

The weather couldn't have been better for a day in Grant Park, 70s and sunny with the occasional cloud for some shade. 

Over 10,000 people ran around Chicago and Grant Park on Sunday for the happiest 5k on Earth
